David Shawty has become one of my most frequently played artists this year, all his songs have been top notch, with his song writing and production being at it’s best especially in songs like “cowgirl,” and “morphine.” He’s continued to release a bunch of content during the summer and with it coming to an end, he releases a tape with neilaworld leader fadedblackkid.

The tape is only a mere 5 tracks but I’m ok with it since all the tracks are some of the best that David has put out this year. His chemistry with fadedblackid shows on the tape, as David effortlessly comes up with catchy melodies all over the project, especially on the single “gravey44rd” and “locksmith.” fadedblackid’s production is phenomonal all over the project, going along perfectly with David’s unique vocals. “Grave Angel” is a great tape that showcases David’s versatility as an artist and fadedblackid’s capabilities as a producer, with every song having a new sound to it.
