Sol Jay has been on a hot streak lately, dropping off a few fire singles over the course of the summer and then later appearing on lastclass’s “otaku.” All his recent releases have showcased his remarkable versatility as an artist, finding him trying a new sound on every new drop. His latest song “silence” is yet another display of his constant innovation and improvement as an artist.

      He hits up iankon for the instrumental and Ian supplies Jay with a subtle, elegant beat that he cruises over effortlessly, coming up with a infectious hook and an impressive verse that show off both his technical and writing skills. “silence” isn’t as auto-tune heavy as some of his other singles but on here he shows that he doesn’t really need that, as his vocals are superb throughout the entire track, ending the track with beautifully sung hums over the smooth melody by Ian. It’s a great track and personally one of my favorites from his last 4 drops and has me excited for his upcoming project. Check it out below:
