KYSLINGO has been subtly gaining a loyal fan base over the course of the year, releasing some of the most emotional music I’ve heard all year with touching songs like COMPANY II, HOPE, GLORY, and Burnheart. Recently, he added “Michigan” to his already impressive track record. He self-produces on the solo effort and crafts a lovely instrumental with a beautiful melody that goes wonderfully with his soft vocals that sound almost euphoric in a way. He recites a touching hook that gives off a poignant vibe, as if Lingo is narrating a heart-wrenching flashback scene in a movie, delivering lines about self-hatred, old memories and his rampant thought process as he tells a different tale with every bar. “Michigan” is a track you don’t wanna miss out on, so give the upcoming talent out of Maryland a listen below:
