Karo Records is official. It’s leading members are hell bent on turning the upstart label into an industry heavyweight, and with their eyes set on the top , it’s founder Bag Ty puts up his new EP Karo King for us to enjoy. The six track project is a continuation of his old self, following his two former projects Plug Musik and Traptized. But Karo King also spells out something new for the Atlanta native, a rebirth of Atlanta’s underground.

With no autotune or melodies attached, Bag Ty, alongside 10kDunkin, ATL Smook and Tyrone, speeds through ear grabbing production from the likes of Captain Crunch, Yung Henny, Quali, The 61st, Jakesand, Soldado and Ric, leaving quotables and memorable lines for us throughout the entire thirteen minute trek. If you’re familiar with Bag Ty and his mission, this is surely a tape you will appreciate and come back to several times. Check it out for yourself below and let me know what you think in the comments.
