40 Songs To Listen To While On Quarantine

This year’s been pretty awful so far, with deaths that have shocked the entire nation, a virus that is not even close to ceasing, the movie industry in a complete panic, and quite possibly the worst app to ever exist becoming the biggest thing in the world. And right now, at the end of March, just about everyone in the world is sitting their houses, cooped up, either sitting in complete boredom and staring at the wall, binge watching shows that have been sitting on their watch list for months, reading books they never thought they’d touch, sitting in a google hangout for school that is painfully awkward, or probably having some mental breakdown about their existence–I know I am.

But the one thing that’s stayed consistent, are the artists releasing new, exciting music that’s ever refreshing and experimental. David Shawty and Yungster Jack are finally getting their turn to blow up, with their hits like “Pressure” blowing up to heights that they absolutely deserve, and helping them get linked up with 16yrold. There’s been the quick rise of an artist named P4rkr, who is literally going to be an icon in 3 years or less.

Go listen to “Bad Idea” and tell me otherwise. He can make a killer drum and bass track, a pop song, a emo song, or an explosive banger like “drama.” And to top it off, he’s only 14, which is just jaw-dropping. He’s on the cusp of his youth and just makes music, not for anybody else, or to chase success and clout, but because he loves to.

Him and his group of friends over at Bloodhounds make music because they love to, and that’s a beautiful thing to see. All of them, Chach, Ways, Prblm, luvbackpack, saturn, 4am, coldrose, etc. are all making some great music right now, and most of them take up hundreds of space on my playlist. The current wave brewing with Bloodhounds, Novagang, and artists like grace, sglily, buffalobang, w3bcam, femail, sholoh, blankfac3, djfun216, eera, o0o, babysosa and etc. are producing the best music out right now, so get acquainted, for your ears sake.
